Monday 16th December

Apprentice study day - work as per otj record.

Wednesday 18th December

Today I have been working from an allocated spreadsheet, focusing on atlas updates for changes in income and a lot of address updates for people who did not have active claims. Linked to these address updates were then new CTR claims through UC atlas.

Thursday 19th December

Today I have been working through allocated work in images.  I have dealt with two new claims for housing benefit, for supported accommodation.  For both of these claims I have had to email the housing provider to request licence agreements and proof of ID and income for the claimants.  I dealt with a claimant who's tax credits had ended.  I emailed her to ask for an update on her circumstances. She then rang me and stated that she wasn't aware her tax credits had been stopped. I advised her to contact them asap, I could see on her previous notes that a fraudulent claim for UC had been made in her name, earlier in the year so I was hoping that this hadn't happened again to her.  I have kept the claim pended for further updates.

Friday 20th December

Today I was working on new CTR claim through UC new claims, allocated in anite on pdf's. A lot of them, I have found that they are not liable for Council Tax at the addresses on their UC claims.  I have contacted these claimants by email and sent the link to the Kirklees Website and advised them to go online and complete a moving in form to make themselves liable for Council Tax.   I also had a an email enquiry from a landlord of a property who was waiting for benefit for a new tenant that had moved in.  We are still waiting for a tenancy agreement from the claimant before I can process the claim. I rang the claimant to advise of this and she confirmed it would be provided on Monday. I then rang the landlord as we have permission to discuss the claim with him, and I advised him of the call to the claimant and that his payment should hopefully be processed the following week.  He was ok with this,
