Monday 18th November Today I would usually be working from home, using my allocated time to work on my apprenticeship. But I have swapped my day to Friday this week, due to the Northgate system being shut down for updates.  I have been processing UC atlas work, processing changes in UC income.  I have also taken some telephone calls for general benefit enquiries. Wednesday 20th November Today I have been completing my allocated work from the Anite system.  I have registered two new claims for housing benefit. Both were from supported accommodation organisations.  I have emailed the support works, who have helped complete the HB application forms and requested proof of licence agreements and proof of income for the claimants.  I have also had to request proof of identification and VISA documents for a family who have only recently been residing in the UK. Monday 11th November I am on annual leave today. Wednesday 13th November Processing UC atlas from work allocated on a spreadsheet.  I have quite a few new claims today. Three of them are people who have never been registered on the system before and their Nationality if stated as other.  I have registered the claims and written out to these claimants for proof of their identification and right to reside details for our records.  I have also emailed two claimants who are not yet registered for Council Tax at the addresses they have put CTR claims in for. Advised them to go online and sent them a link to the online Council Tax form, on the Kirklees Council Website, which request details for new tenants. Monday 28th October Today is my off the job training day.  Apprenticeship work completed as per the off the job training record. Wednesday 30th October Working through a spreadsheet, processing Universal Credit atlas updates on Northgate, which were all new claims for Council Tax Reduction.  This involved registering the new claim, checking Council Tax Records against the UC information and pending the pdf document to wait for the next UC update with the claimant's income.  I also completed VEP tasks which involved logging in and checking the claim from the allocated National Insurance Number and making changes to income if appropriate or writing to the claimant for further information regarding changes in jobs/salary.
